hier arbeite ich schon eine ganze Weile und komme nicht weiter ... es wird wohl bis nach dem Sommer 2007 dauern, bis ich die Häuser nochmal besucht habe, bis hier wirklich Fakten stehen.

Diese neue Kategorie konnte es bisher nicht geben: Es gab bis 2003 keine empfehlenswerten Hotels außerhalb der Stadt. Inzwischen habe ich zumindest 3 Hotels gefunden und alle 3 sind eine Empfehlung für Gäste, die entweder die Stadt schon kennen und raus aufs Land wollen oder die vor der Metropole wohnen und diese nur tagsüber besuchen wollen (Erholungsurlaub mit Stadterlebnis).

Oder für meine Frau und mich: Wir wohnen in St. Petersburg und werden es im Winter genießen, für ein komfortables Wochenende aufs Land zu fahren - entweder auf unsere Datscha oder auch mal in eines dieser Hotels.

Location: 35 km from St.Petersburg; 70 km off the Pulkovo airport. Built in 2001. The five star hotel Baltic Star (4 floors, 106 rooms) was built in a style of a four-floored noble manor in 1956, fully reconstructed in 2003. The hotel is located in Strelna, the picturesque suburb of St. Petersburg, 25 km to the south from the center of St. Petersburg on shore of Finland Gulf. Baltic Star occupies a historical building next to the unique architectural ensemble of the Konstantinovsky Palace (official resident of Russian President) and Gardens. During the high tourist season (May-August) you can use the hotel shuttle bus to go to the Nevsky Prospect. Baltiysky railway station - 27 km, Pulkovo airport - 15 km. Nearest metro station: Avtovo, Leninsky Prospect (20 minutes by transport).
